At present, with the Chinese economic developing fast, the environment of the commercial banks has changed a lot and "intermediate business" has become more and more important. For the further development of intermediate business, it is necessary to discuss how to control its risk efficiently and regulate it by law. Although intermediate business has no distinct risky influence on the commercial banks, still it will become a future developing trend in extending business and gaining non-interest incomes from long-term, so we can't neglect the latent risks of intermediate business. Compared with the development of intermediate business of foreign commercial bank, now in China, during the course of the operation of the intermediate business, there are a lot of problems such as the imperfection of constitution and stipulation of risk management systems, the lag of legal supervising, etc. It is important and practically meaningful to commercial banks in promoting the rapid growth of intermediate business, enhancing its competence and ensuring the healthy operation of the financial system to strengthen researches of risk management of intermediary business.In the essay, based on the contrasting of the development of intermediate business between Chinese and foreign commercial bank, beginning from the analysis of various risk, the author will try to discuss how to regulate intermediate business by law.
