The direction of corporate development and the realization of operation objectives mainly depend on the management strategy. The aim and meaning of this assay is to do a dual analysis of both the construction machinery sector in which Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd(hereafter refers to Sany) situates and the internal structure of Sany, therefore to make an operational competition strategy which suits Sany in order to help Sany to achieve its operation objectives and sustainable development.At least four aspects must be included while making an integrated competition strategy. The first is the basic competition strategy. The second is countermeasures that are made according to the competition strategy. The third is the selection and evaluation of the countermeasures. The fourth is to implement and control strategy.The competition strategy must be considered in three aspects, internal resources, external environment and value added capability. The competition strategy is made to provide guidance for the company on how to compete in the market, what the competition objective is and how to carry out the strategy.The strategy is made based on the competition analysis in view of the economy, politics, technology, industry environment, industry clustering, demand and growth of the industry. The competence and the information of main competitors are also key factors leading to the making of the strategy.The competition strategy includes the general competition strategy and countermeasures supporting the strategy. After the strategy has been made, countermeasures must be carried out to meet the requirement of the strategy. Countermeasures must be evaluated in view of its coherence, flexibility, rationality, efficiency, business risk and the attraction to related people. The key points in a strategic decision is to decide procedures of the strategyimplementation, provide competition advantages, explore the relationship between the company and the environment, and create the ability to keep sustainable development in an efficient way.According to above-mentioned guidance, the research on the competition strategy and strategic countermeasures of Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd made in this essay is to serve the management needs and the operation objectives of Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd.
