A Research On The Coordination Between Monetary Policy And Banking Regulation Under The Separation Of The Two Tasks

A great consensus is required on the underlying relationship between monetary policy and banking regulation, which are two important functions for the monetary and financial authorities. This paper analyses the mutually coordinative role mechanism of both from the existent objective coordinative relationship between monetary policy and banking regulation, pointing out the significance of coordinating both two functions. Combined with the review of our central bank's financial supervision and regulation history, the thesis investigates and analyses the existent coordinative relation before the separation of monetary policy and banking regulation, then mainly analysis and puts forward some new problems that may appear after the separation. Finally, the paper points out that the establishment of coordinative mechanism is much more important, and gives some policy advices.
