Research On The Sustainable Development Of Chinese Family Enterprises

Family business is one of the most popular kind of enterprise's form in the world. As the private enterprise's economy developed, Chinese family business plays an important role in the national economy construction. But during their development, family business meet with many impediment, which make it stay at a lower level. Therefore, many scholars do not agree with it, and they think that the management system is rigid and inefficient. Family business can realize its development only by giving up the family fatten and transferring into modern enterprise.The thesis's viewpoint is that the system arrangement of enterprises must accord with the impact on of enterprise's external environment condition, must be with the life cycle and developing process to match of enterprises. Considering our country's present national conditions and market development degree, family system innovated constantly will still be feasible choice of us within certain period. Family business can realize sustainable development rather than being abandoned completely. It is just an important orientation for family enterprise to set up modern enterprise system, but can't become the only choice at the present. The greatest problem that Chinese enterprises face is not how to transform into modern enterprise, but how to raise their operation performance and how to realize their sustainable development.Because of uncontrollability of external environment condition, Chinese family enterprise must examine and improve their own advantages and defects closely to realize sustainable development. Based on the enterprises' life cycle theory, the thesis analyzes the corporate governance, entrepreneur and enterprise's culture of the family enterprise to study on the current situations of the development of enterprises general, provide the new train of thought of sustainable development of a family firm. This thesis is composed of five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the theory and practice background of this article; Chapter 2 analyzes the corporate governance of family enterprise and gives the direction and some advices for improvement; Chapter 3 discusses family business' entrepreneur and power transition problem; Chapter 4 studies the great effect of enterprise's culture; Chapter 5 is the part of conclusion and expectation for the thesis.
