Throughout the course of development and change enterprise system, we will find not only the prevalence of family business enterprise system at various stages of development, while showing in the prosperity and development of the market economy in its strong and tough to survive competitive, regardless of in developed or developing countries occupy a pivotal position. Taiwan is one of the regions in the relatively high percentage of family business areas, in the world. the proportion of its listed companies, family-controlled companies up to 70%, the family business is arguably the most important and most common form of organization in Taiwan. Family history of the development of enterprises in Taiwan early, and early learning and the introduction of the relevant American model of governance, whether from internal or external governance mechanism governance of the company, are compared to the development of the continent's many mature.Therefore, in order to absorb the basis of domestic and foreign scholars on the research, a family business in Taiwan as a reference object and analyze its characteristics, summed up the experience and strengths of Taiwan Family Enterprise in legal systems,To provide a reference for the mainland family business corporate governance system in order to promote the comprehensive development of the continent in order to promote the family business.In this paper, the text is divided into four parts, namely:The first part is a family business and corporate governance overview of the two concepts, the discussion of the kinship range, type of business development, corporate governance essentially summed particularity family business corporate governance system, which leads to background and research significance.which includes a historical overview from the Japanese era to the present course of development of Taiwan Family Enterprise. And in specific cases to analyze the present status of the legal system of corporate governance, including corporate governance, set up independent directors and supervisors to strengthen supervision, improve the information disclosure system. Finally, it introduces the characteristics of China's Taiwan Family Enterprise, mainly listed family business ownership and management rights gradually from diversified ownership structure tends to decentralization and large family businesses, mostly in the form of enterprise groups, financial institutions more by large family corporate control, corporate governance talent market development, family-oriented governance.The third part describes the history of the family business as well as mainland China has exposed a series of questions. Only for their own development objective analysis and reflection, in order to identify the limiting factors affecting the development of our family business. Development of the mainland by the double impact of the family business of traditional family culture and a special economic system, showing ownership is highly concentrated in the hands of the family, internal board of supervisors as well as formal employment mechanism unreasonable and other defects.The fourth part is a combination of family business in Taiwan related to corporate governance regime on the mainland of the family to make some sound corporate governance recommendations, so that the family business in mainland areas has been long-term development.
