Immigration Crime Prevention In Bincheng District

In the process of modernization and urbanization, the immigration crime problem is getting more and more severe, meanwhile, the studies concerned are also getting in depth. Majority of the research relate only to medium or large cities, few deal with small towns or districts. The author thinks, with the economic development in those small cities, their immigrant population increase fast, so do their crime problems. If not prevented or controlled promptly, this situation may put great pressure on us and even become an obstacle to the economy. Therefore, after thorough analysis on the reality of immigration crime problems in Bincheng district, this thesis tries to conclude the growth pattern. By borrowing a lot from the experience in those big cities, we will find the effective management and prevention solutions to the particular immigration crime problems in Bincheng district, which can in turn create a well secured social environment for the economic development in the area.The content and chapter arrangement are as following: chapter one collects plenty of immigration criminal records in the past 13 years in Bincheng district, and probes the characteristics and growth pattern of the immigration crime problems; chapter two analyzes the causes of the problem, and summarizes the multi-level as well as multi-dimensional social, cultural and psychological causes; chapter three predicts quantitatively and qualitatively on crime problems, setting up a regression model; chapter four puts forward some preventive measures, such as developing economy, improving education, enforcing "community security" and reinforcing the crack-down moves. Chapter four is the core of the thesis.The major innovative points in the article include: firstly, present the features of the immigration crimes as well as the relevant preventive measures; secondly, predict the immigration crime development tendency in Bincheng district by setting up a regression model; thirdly, introduce "community security" concept into the immigration management and the people-oriented management principle, in order to avoid the short-term behavior in the immigration population management.
