The Research Of Analysing The Current Situation And Countermeasure Of Office Automation In Our Country's Universities And Colleges

This paper describes the current situation of office automation in our country's universities and colleges through questionnaires and interviews and analyses some problems existing in the construction of universities and colleges office automation, thus put forwards the principle and countermeasure .It includes four parts.Part I -chapter I . The background, purpose, significance, content, methods and theory of the research are illustrated.Part II-chapter II. It Introduces the definition and development course of the office automation, It summarizes the tradition work model and the internet-based model.Part III-chapter III & IV. By means of questionnaires and interviews, this presents the overall situation of office work and its automation in universities ,the construction of hardware and software, management of office automation and consciousness of office work. It also analysis current situation and university office automation, and sums up the question in its construction. The most precalent question of office automaton is consciousness of office work. To summarize the characteristic ,a case analysis of Tsing Hua University and Zhengzhou University of Light Industry is done.Part IV-chapter V .In this part. Some principle of constructing office automation in universities are proposed: the leader recognition and understanding unification; overall planning and resource sharing; easy first and difficult afterwards; being demand -oriented and using application to urge the development. There are also some approaches to it: to set up CIO system, and perfect an administrative mechanism under the supervision of CIO; to build and perfect administrative system in conformity with office automation ;to put more efforts in training specialized personnel of office automation; to adjust the proportion of the software and hardware and attach importance to secondary development of software ; to guarantee the security of office automation system.. Office automation will develop towards multimediaization, intelligentization, digitalization, knowledge management.
