Modern western major economics deviates from the tradition of humanism of economics because of praising instrumental rationality excessively. Economics, while introducing the analytical method of the quantity to bring about development itself, make it get on road of alienation itself too. Economics has been formalized, quantized and utilized. So, today when the humane factor play an increasingly important role in economy development, to trace back to the humanism tradition of economics, reinvent the humanism spirit of economics and to rebuild and develop contemporary Chinese economics under this basic prerequisite and yardstick have deep theory meaning and realistic meaning on reaching the strategic objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way, and even on reaching the goal of the most high value of the freedom and the all-round development of people.What on earth the economics research should regard as the core, material or people? This is a question which running through the whole economic thought development history, and also a question that the educational circles still debate endlessly so far. A view thinks that economics should pay more attention to the analysis on quantity of resource configuration, considers that economics should use the quantity model mainly, then suppose rationally that publishes some key elements and restrains the condition, through deducing, get the ideal output finally; ,and someone think that economics should pay more attention to concrete economic experience of question in reality analyze, by way of studying the case, explain the realistic economic problem and put forward the scheme solved; some views think that economics should pay more attention to the study on system, making analysis to the questions under the great background to the system, for example, property right, market mechanism, trade expenses, public to choose, assign, etc.; and there also a view thinks that economics should pay close attention to people's existence and development from the ultimate meaning, pay more attention to the research in questions such as the value judgment of economics and economic morals, etc..This thesis attempts to comb and understand again the humanism tradition which has been carrying out all the time both in west economy thought development history and Marx's economy thought development history, and at the same time, answer from logic angle why economics must adhere to the humanism spirit.
