The article discusses the uses of charging method and the binding period in the telecommunication product customization.In a competition market, the stability of customers becomes more and more important. Binding can be one of the most useful means to make the user stable. Then the carriers have time to improve their service level and the competitive capability of their products. Through the deducing of the value of banding period, we get the result of the value. The carrier can use the formula as the tools in negotiation with the customer and the other marketing activities. The formula of the value of binding period can also be spread to the evaluation of costomer loyalty. The results improve the discussing of the value of costomer loyalty from trends level to quantities level.It's valuable for the carrier that using the calling model under a special charging method and a special charging tariff. The carrier can get the related data from the charging database regarding to different kinds of users and different products .A model can be concluded with these data eventually. The carrier can also use these models to compute and compare the advantages of all plans in product customization. It can reduce the randomness in the product customization and approach the profit-maximum. The article comes up with a way to calculate and gives some examples to use it.In the end of the article, there are some other ideas about making rate plan. The results and analyzing technique are not used in the telecommunication enterprises only, but for other similar industries. In the conclusion of the article, there are some ideas about how to spread out.
