Since 2003, with the recovery of the world economic and the acceleration of the process that the world trade come to free and integrative, the need in ship market increases quickly, after the full-scale recovery, the world ship market is being at the period of rapid rise, the market is so boom that the competition is picking up step by step. The international ship corporations are exploring actively to adapt to the development. They buy, sale, make or rent ships; they searched for the new management mode; they unite each other, recompose, and annex or purchase others; and so on. In these economic affairs, the firms have to evaluate their assets to protect their own benefits. So the ship assessment is a vital and practical work to ship firms.The motholds of assets assessment have been used in evaluating ships for only seven or eight years, and ships are very complicated and composed of many different systems, so, it is at the intial stages to ebaluate ships using the motholds of assets assessment. Based on the theory of assets assessment, contacted with the principle of forecast and technological economics, this paper made a research on ship assets assessment, and developed a system.At first, demonstrated the content, methods and the approaches of technical assessment. By the technical assessment, predict the life of the ship, and provid the basis for framing chengxinlv and budgeing the fare of maintain.In the part of the present-value evaluation, demonstrated the application of three methods in ship assets assessment, and researched how to confirm the parameters in these methods.In the part of future-value evaluation, demonstrated how to forecast and budget the income and outcome in future. In the income forecast, mainly adopted the huiseyuce and qingjingyuce, and circumstantiated the application of the two methods in ships.At last, by dynamically assessing the time from investment to take-back, judged the rationality of the forecast of ship life. Besides, judged the rationality of the forecast of the fare for maintain.Based on the academic research above, this paper developed a soft systemapplied to assets assessment with VBA and Excel, in order to simplize the assessment work and improve the efficiency and the function.
