As the market economy is booming, the importance of research on business competition becomes obvious. The aviation chemical market, subordinate market of CAAC, is going through the changeover, from free expansion to development with both governmental and industrial guides. Competitions on this market are more various, complex, and even more involving than those on other markets. The article is aimed at the situation which NW Company is facing, and how the company achieves its target by drawing up the strategy, and systemizing the strategy.The article first introduces the reference theories of competition strategy, such as the introduction on different ideas of the concept of strategy, company strategy of Prof. Michael E. Porter, and strategy design tools from Prof. David. Second, with the help of the theory and tools, the article gives complete data system to analyze the business environment that NW Company is in and its competitors from this particular field. Together with its experience of the long-time competition on the market, the article shows threats and opportunities from outside of the company, and advantages and disadvantages from inside; with the help of tools such as SWOT matrix, the article sets up the new business strategy. Meanwhile, it breaks the strategy down to every level, vertical and horizontal, (company structure, products process, marketing, financial regulation, business culture). Finally, the article applies the new strategy to specific business cases.Three sparkles shine in the article. First, accurate position and analysis on the competitors in the market own to excellent theory of Strategy Group. Second, complicated market situation promotes the tool of competition status fraction. Last, but not least, precise analysis on competitions which NW Company encounters before and after the set up of new strategy.
