Study On Economic And Technological Development Zone Of Wuhan Absorbing Trans-corporation's Countermeasures

In the trend towards economic globalization, the trans-corporation serves as an important economic force, and plays a significant role in promoting the economic development of an area or even a country. Based on an empirical research and statistical analysis, this thesis starts from the analysis of the development trend of the trans-corporation, and then explores the strategic characteristics of the trans-corporation's overseas investment and its direct investment in China in regard to the distribution of area and industry. The major bases for the investment in China are thereby concluded. The thesis evaluates the current situation and the preferential policy of investment in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, makes a comprehensive comparison, analysis and conclusion of the preferential policies of foreign investment and the concrete measures in several typical domestic development zones, namely, Minhang of Shanghai, Taida of Tianjin, Ningbo of Zhejiang, Qingdao of Shandong, and Xi'an of Shanxi. Finally, in accordance with the principle of " to meet the national industrial policy and the economic situation and development needs of Wuhan" and with a combination of an empirical analysis of practice carried out in Wuhan, six suggestions are proposed concerning how to absorb the direct investment of the trans-corporation in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone.1) to continue to strengthen the infrastructure construction so as to raise the internal facilities of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone to a higher level.2) to improve on the relevant facilities and the local economic strength for the purpose of offering a cooperative platform for the investment of the trans-corporation.3) to emphasize the policy construction and create for the trans-corporation the favorable and transparent policy environment of the investment.4) to establish the smooth talent importing mechanism in order to provide the trans-corporation with a localized talent support in the host country.5) The government should transform the management system and the work manner and establish a good image of absorbing the investment.6) to gather together the leading projects so as to enhance their functions and influences.
