Research On XBRL-based Financial Reporting Under The Environment Of Internet

Internet-based Financial Reporting will partly or completely take the place of reporting presented on paper in the 21 century. In this circumstance, the primary technological problem in financial reporting on the Internet is the ability to obtain information easily and timely. Due to the weakness of HTML language, XML becomes an effective basis for its extensibility. From 1999, AICPA began to develop a new language based on XML called eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), and expected XBRL could resolve the problem in obtaining, analyzing and transferring accounting information. Up to now, XBRL has made a great progress in the world. This article has exactly studied the Financial Reporting of Internet based on XBRL under the background of the fact. At first, the article has described the current development situation and existing problems of Internet-based Financial Reporting at present, and proposes XBRL is a new way of innovating Internet-based Financial Reporting mode. Secondly, the article probes into XBRL relevant concept and XBRL basic frame, and emphasizes the technological advantage of XBRL. Thirdly, on the basis of first two parts of contents the article studies their application states in the world and in our country. The purpose is to absorb foreign experience, and popularize and apply XBRL in our country's Internet-based Financial Reporting. Because to working out Taxonomy is most primary matter in the XBRL application of Internet-based Financial Reporting, finally, referring the cases of succeeding in the world, this article have made a set of content structure of XBRL taxonomy of primary financial statement which accords with our country's enterprise accounting standard and accounting system in practice, and wish offering the practice reference for developing and studying XBRL in our country.
