There are a great number of special local products in China. Combine with the international treaties that China has attended, and consult other countries' legislation pattern about geographical Indications protection, in this paper, via differentiate and analyse the geographical Indications and correlated conception, analyse the protection course and existent questions to the geographical Indications, a pattern that China should establish a department to charge the enrollment and supervision of the brand for using it to protect the geographical Indications is going to be raised. At the same time, for further exertion of the local government's and guild's function, an ordain should be edited to protect the geographical Indications in the trademark law. And for strengthen the protection to the geographical Indications, China should attend and sign multilateral and bilateral treaties actively as well.
