Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) have influence on many economic aspects of our country, this is an irrefutable fact, the influence on employment is a very important aspect, but until now ,there was little research about that .The existing research results have two kinds of different conclusions, one think FDI has very important influence on employment of our country, this kind of influence includes two aspects: the directly Influence & the indirectly influence, the indirectly influence is more efficient than the direct; The others think FDI influent on employment of our country is not big, enough because employment proportion in Overseas-funded enterprise of our country is little, Over more, FDI and employment are influenced by some other important factors, for example, the policy system and international environment, etc.At present, the mainly use normal research to analyze the relationship between FDI and employment; a few use empirical research to do it. The paper mainly using empirical researching to analyze the relationship between FDI and employment both overall and regional level.The thesis includes six chapters. Chapter 1-the introduction: In this chapter, I narrate systematically the meaning and aim of research, research actuality at home and abroad, the innovation, research logic and approach.; Chapter 2-FDI & Employment theories. In this chapter, I systematically summarize domestic and overseas FDI & employment theories and provide comprehensive comment to theories; Chapter 3: regional distribution of FDI and Employment: In this chapter, I describe static distribution and dynamic changes of FDI and employment among overall and regional level since China's reform and opening up through detailed and accurate statistical data so as to point the features of central region's employment contraction; Chapter 4- An empirical research analysis in FDI and employment of our country, this chapter analyses and draws FDI through co-integration and Granger analysis, The conclusion is that FDI have limited indirect influence on employment, but the indirect influence is much more than the direct one; Chapter 5-an empirically research analysis on the relationship between regional FDI and regional employment of our country, In this chapter, I mainly use least square method and Granger test. I draw the conclusion that FDI difference and employment have close relationship;Chapter 6-the conclusion and policy recommendations. This chapter is generalization and summary of the full paper, at the end, I put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.
