| Deng Xiaoping Theory, the three represents theory and the scientific thought of development as the theoretical innovation achievements of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics during different stages; they are closely linked to each other, but also with different features. They are the achievements that are produced by Chinese in Marxist theory with the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism combined with the specific reality of contemporary China, characteristics of the times by Chinese Communist Party. The party's 17 reports integrated them as "theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics." This theoretical system which basically inherited and developed Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought is the scientific integration of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics since reform and opening up, and the theoretical innovation of economically and culturally backward country to explore the historical problems of building socialism and achieve breakthroughs. This scientific integration indicates that our party's understanding of socialism with Chinese characteristics is more scientific, comprehensive and profound. Each of the three major theoretical achievements in the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is a specific position that not only their own, but also inter-related; not only the same linkage, but also advance with the times, reflecting the unification between the phase and progress of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Therefore, in-depth study and accurate understanding of the relationship between the three major theoretical achievements will help us understand completely, accurately and grasp its theoretical system, firm the confidence that the theory on socialism with Chinese characteristics to guide the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and also promote theoretical innovation to a further degree in the future.
