Objective:Study the relationship between changes of the concentration ofpotassium and magnesium in the vitreous humor of rabbits and the postmortemimterval in the various temperature. Methods:This study detected the concentration of potassium and magnesiumin vitreous humor of rabbit at 96h after death and explored the relationship betweentheir concentration and PMI using a method of tomic absorption spectrophotometer. Results: In the circumstance of 4℃和28℃, the concentration of potassiumand magnesium raised steadily with extension of postmortem intervals from 0 to 96hours in rabbits. Conclusion:The concentration of potassium and magnesium in the vitreoushumor rises while the PMI extends. There are correlations between the concentrationof potassium and magnesium in the vitreous humor and the PMI.
