On The Work Of Non-Party Cadres In Colleges And Universities

The non-party cadres in colleges and universities means that the teacher and staff hold a certain post,democracy-party and non-party members. It can be divided into six types in accordance with the actual work in different functions.It includes political arrangements,actual post arrangement,social arrangements,the academic work,plug in the democratic management and staff of non-party cadres in schools.The work of non-party cadres is an important part of United Front work in college and university.It includes the finding, education, selection,use,assessment,management.The strengthening on the work of non-party cadres is beneficial to the persistence and perfection the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the CPC, role of patriotic united front in implementing scientific development concept,the strength of the construction of cadre's team of the Chinese communist party and the work of ideological and political in the higher educational institution.This paper disscussed the importance of studying the work of non-party cadres in colleges and universities,and reviewed domestic research firstly.It discussed the relevant concepts, types and characteristics, guidelines and basic content of the work of non-party cadres in colleges and universities.During the study, analyzed the results of the< The questionnaire about the work of non-Party cadres of Dalian University of Technology in 2010>, and generalized the achievements and main problems by referring to existing literature. The achievements are mainly embodied as follows:the number and the overall quality of non-Party cadres has increased, while the university has also developed some training and selection mechanisms, and gradually paying attention tothe actual post arrangement for non-party cadres. However, there are still some problems and shortages:can not detect the non-party cadres timely,classified cultivation isn't outstanding and clear, lack of scientific and rational assessment system, issues of a small number of non-party cadres.This paper seeked reasons from school party, social misfits thought, non-Party cadres theirself,etc.Finally,by applying to methods of ideological and political education, put forward to suggestion from the party committee pay attention, political guidance, and the grass-roots organization of democratic in college and universities, hoping to solve the the existing problem of non-party cadresin college and university.
