The Present Situation And The Legistilation Of Non-marital Cohabitation In Our Country

As the enrichment of the material life,diversification of the multicultural awareness and forgiveness of social environment and morality. Non-marital cohabitation as a free living style has become a popular trend in the world, therefore causing attention by societies and legislators in more countries. Many countries has started the legislative control of Non-marital cohabitation. So far our country keeps an evasive attitude to Non-marital cohabitation. However, a lot of law suites caused by non-marital cohabitation in the real life needs specific legal regulation. It will regulate and guide the non-marital cohabitation, prevent and reasonable resolve the dispute, protect the best interest of the concerned party and their children. This dissertation value the construction of the harmonious society, from the necessity of the legislation of non-marital cohabitation, introduce its concept and characteristics. The paper will refer to the experience of other countries' experience and our own national conditions, propose the legislation for non-marital cohabitation in our country.
