Research On The Social Supports For The Vulnerable Groups From Non-governmental Organizations Of The Grassroots

The problem of social vulnerable groups is one of the social emergencies for our state to guarantee the present economic society to go steadily. And, to solve such a problem, not only the power of the government is in need, but also the might, of the public. Currently, our domestic studies on the social supports for vulnerable groups are not mature. Most of them are still lingering around the level of the government's official supports, such as relief on the social security, yet rarely on the non-official supports. So called non-official supports include supports from non-governmental organizations as well as other social forces, and the grassroots NGO is the important part of non-governmental organizations. Government is the major force for the vulnerable groups'solution, and at the same time, social force is the auxiliary power for the solution. At present, the grassroots NGO as one of the most important members of NGO, are becoming increasingly important roles in the process of dealing with vulnerable groups'issues. They are providing the vulnerable groups with the most urgently needed service and helps, winning themselves the warm welcome within the vulnerable groups. Therefore, the study on the social supports for the vulnerable groups provided by the grassroots NGO has become particularly important.This paper used three research methods to complete the research, including literature study, case studies and interview research methods. And the paper is to hope that do the research through the two grassroots NGO in Beijing, to know about the detail on the social supports for the vulnerable groups provided by the grassroots NGO, understanding the current situation and analyzing the existing problem about the social supports for the vulnerable groups provided by the grassroots NGO. Then give some proposes suggestions for perfecting on the social supports for the vulnerable groups provided by the grassroots NGO.The thesis is divided into five chapters:the first chapter is going to elaborate the research background, views on the present condition home and abroad, the theoretical bases, the definition, study approaches and the goals of the concerned conception as well as the meaning and the innovated points of this study; The second chapter is mainly about the description of current situation on the social supports for the provided by the grassroots NGO, including the description of current situation about several vulnerable groups in Beijing and the description of current situation on the social supports for the provided by the grassroots NGO; The third chapter basically analyses the existing problems on the social supports for the provided by the grassroots NGO in details; The fourth chapter basically analyses the current obstacles about the social supports for the provided by the grassroots NGO, basically including the insufficient funds, manpower resource scarcity, legitimacy dilemma and their ability construction difficulties; The fifth chapter is giving advice and solution to improve the social supports by the grassroots NGO, mainly including the three suggestions:strengthen the support force of the government, reinforce the self ability of grassroots NGO as well as innovate the support modes of grassroots NGO; The last chapter is the conclusion.
