Discussion On The Current Report System

The thesis mainly deals with the current report system. It takes the pollution disaster of Zijin Mining Group Co. as an example to elaborate the basic theoretical issues of current report system. In addition to introduction, the paper is divided into three parts.The first part of the system focused on an overview of the current report system. As an important component of the information disclosure system, the current report system has always been valued by domestic and international legislation. To protect the interests of investors and maintain the stable development of the securities market, our legal system also made more scientific requirements about the current report system. This part has made a more detailed introduction from the principles, review procedures to violations responsibility about the current report system. It also has introduced the domestic and international legislation about the current report system. The author believe that the current report should include three basic principles which is true, accurate and complete principle, the principle of fairness and timely principle . Whether the information disclosure system should be viewed as a fundamental principle of Information disclosure system still have different opinions in theoretical circles.The second part discusses the fundamental theory of the current report system include materiality criterion and timeliness criterion. There are two different opinions about the materiality criterion in theoretical circles and the author has put forward her own point. Besides, it also made a detailed introduce of timeliness criterion.Part three mainly analyze the present situation of the current report system in our country. The author gives some suggestion to perfect the current report such as make more detailed specifications to timeliness, to make corresponding adjustments about review procedures and the author also suggests administrative punishment regulations shall be revised to a certain level.
