Research On Violations Against Users' Privacy By Internet Applications Which Collecting User's Informations

Begin with three cases:War between QQ and 360, Facebook privacy scandal, and the iPhone applications to send user information leads to the problems caused by invasion of privacy by Internet application. The paper examines the content of traditional privacy, distinguish the scope betweenprivacy and personal information, and expand the scope of privacy in the Internet age. This is a new challenge against network privacy, which different from the human search and Pornographic events in the past.In the current typical cases, involving violations of the privacy of the user application software, mainly installed on the user computer and a number of smart phone applications, and some third-party applications software on the SNS website. As the rapid development of Internet and software features, many applications can search users' date in computer and smart phone in the background while provide services to users. Without users' knowledge and consent, to collect and send user information, will cause violations against users' network privacy.This paper examines the traditional content of privacy, proposes the newchallenge against traditional privacy in internet age.Summarizes the scope ofthe new network privacy based on the invasion of network privacy caused by Internet applications.Finally, this paper presents the program to complete network privacy protection, Internet applications service provider self-regulation, strengthen government guidance,strengthen judicial practices and improve the legislation in protecting network privacy four ways. In dealing with violations of the network privacy of the dispute, should be strongly opposed to simple and crude methods, using scientific means to encourage self-regulation by theInternet industry, insist on legislation-oriented, seeking government guidance, judicial practice and other channels in order to a timely, fast and effectively solution of Internet privacy disputes.
