The Study Of New Generation Migrant Workers About The Public Social Security Issues

With the advance of urbanization and the development of social economics, the new generation which represented by Gen 80 and Gen 90 of migrant workers has become the main part of migrant workers, and played an irreplaceable role in the construction of the city. The new generation of migrant workers has a distinctive group identity, which is gradually replacing the characteristics of former generation migrant workers. The final result of this group of people is to be members of civilized citizen. However, the process of integration into the city is really difficult. By studying the fundamental reason, it can be found that the new generation of migrant workers cannot share social security. As current system and legislation reason, their basic rights of enjoying social security are not effectively protected, hence the desire of becoming citizens is seriously impeded by lacking of social security, for which pave the way of the inharmonious development and hinder the progress of civilization.This paper start from the basic characters of this new generation of migrant workers, and studies the current situation of the new generation of migrant workers, social security situation and relations between the two. Also, trying to find the reasons for lacking of social security, and then put forward constructive suggestions for building the framework of social insurance system for the new generation of migrant workers. The author hopes this article can cause academic and public concern social security issues on this special group of people.
