This paper is the criminal investigation asked the definition, features, classification, object, subject, procedure, effectiveness and analyses the functions, and points out that in the current law flaws, such as lack of witness protection regulation, time and place of the witness the provisions of asking too fuzzy etc. Also in actual use the existing limitations are analyzed, and points out the actual operation of an interrogation record is not standard, ask a wrong way, ask facilities not complete, and trickery of inquiry wrongly use. To ask system consummation put forward concrete measures, regulating the questioning the witnesses, the time limit for regulating an interrogation record of writing, regulating the inquiry in language requirements, and to strengthen the investigator's professional quality.
