Insurance Law Study Of Mass Tort

In recent years, Sanlu milk powder event etc. mass tort events frequently happened in society. In this paper, firstly it analyzed the reasonability of compensation for such tort in existing insurance products. It appears the main insurance products including critical illness insurance can't provide compensation and guarantee for victim of tort. The primary content of this paper is how to improve or redesign the existing insurance products including product liability insuranceagainst mass tort.To my opinion, perfection of law environment is important precondition. There are relative perfect law environment in the countries where the product liability insurance is advanced. Based on that, against the defect of the existing insurance products and imperfection of related laws, we can refer to advanced experience in foreign countries to discuss the development perspective of liability insurance in our country according to the current situation.
