Research On Chen Duxiu's Socialist Thought

Chen Duxiu was the early Chinese marxist and the main leader of Chinese Communist Party and he also was one of the early practical person of sinicization of marxism. In Chen Duxiu's life, his thoughts is complex. His ideas and prejudices were often crisscross, the essence and the dregs were coexisted. In this paper, I have introduced an important part of Chen Duxiu's thoughts, which is the Chen Duxiu's socialist ideology.The first part of my article assumes the social history background of Chen Duxiu's socialist idea from international, domestic, subjective and objective aspects. The second part is according to the formation and development context of Chen Duxiu's socialist ideas to expound the formation and development process in three stages. The third part summarizes the main content of socialist ideology at his early, middle and late period. The fourth part evaluates objectively Chen Duxiu's socialist ideological history status and limitations.Today, the Chinese Communist Party is leading people to construct the Chinese characteristic socialism.
