However according to the circumstance of 2002 and 2003, the actual condition of the agricultural product import and export and the original estimate are not to the utmost same alike. The agricultural product import of our country decreased in 2002,and the export increased; it was not being like to be subjected to the huge impact so estimated generally. But the condition of 2003 was different from 2002, Import had a great deal of increment, and the export had decrement, the impact seems just came. How to treat this kind of difference has the important meaning for our right understand to the influence that joins the WTO to agricultural product trade of our country.This kind of the difference has the reason of the shortage of researches; more important is the appearance of some new circumstances. First this paper concludes the related research that is carry out before joining the WTO. Second taking 2002 and 2003 years as the research object, this paper carry on analysis about agricultural product trade the circumstance, and get the conclusion of the difference. Third this paper carries on the analysis to this kind of difference from the shortage of the method previously and the new circumstance after joining the WTO. When consider the new circumstance, the analysis is mainly carried on from the market and the policy; End, the paper carries out the simple summary and made the outlook of trade circumstance our country joins the WTO formally after the transition period according to the research result.Through the analysis we can get the conclusion that, the actual condition of the agricultural product international trade being different from the previous estimate has the reason of the shortage of the research method before, but the more important reason is the new circumstance appeared after joining the WTO. Through the analysis of these new circumstances we can get the conclusion that: There is contingency that the agricultural product trade did not be greatly pound at the beginning of joining the WTO, and if The Chinese agriculture faces the challenge of WTO formality, there is plenty of work to do wants that the should want to do to.
