Bancassurance in its simplest form is the distribution of insurance products through a bank's distribution channels.That is Banks act as indepdent agent of insurance companiese. Bancassurance has bloomed across Europe since the early 1990s,about 50%per life insurance premium income is generated through bancassurance channels. Bancassurance offers opportunities for banks to broaden their fee and commission-based income and cross-sell financial products to their existing clientele.Insurance companiese tap into huge customer base of bank,not only reduce their reliance on traditional agents but also establish markets present rapidly without the need to build up a network of agents. The share insurance is the main kind product of bancassurance .It is an insurance product which has the insurance guarantees with both investment and finance function as the integral whole. It not only provides customers with the death from disease and accident and whole disability etc.,and also satisfies customers' needs of properly protecting and increasing the value of inventing and financing.when Customers buy insurance product through bank they find it's easy and simple. The Bancassurance Dep of TAIKANG Insurance Company chengdu branch was founded on 2002.At the follow year we got great achievement by selling the "Qianlima"through banks channle.But many problems come out and the progress was slow down since 2003. The paper studies Bancassurance operation of Taikang Insurance Company Chengdu Branch and analysis the problemes among the customer,the Bank and the Insurance Company.For instance,Most of the clients'act of investing are consider to be premature,they expected more return on the investment than it really could be.The quality of bank staff has to be improve.the cooperation base between bank and insurance is still weak and is not the strategic partnership both need.And the insurance product is too simple to fit all kinds of finace needs. The article Point out solutions of the area as strategy,structure,channel management and the results of cross selling efforts.
