A lot of countries in the world have already set up all-sidely , more systematic recall system including such products as automobiles, foods, medicines,etc. Now, our country has issued " the Recall Management Regulation on the Defective Automobile Products " on March 15 , 2004, which will begin to implement from October 1 , 2004. Tt is the first time that our country regards defective automobile products as the pilot project and implements the recall system. In the legislation of other place, " Regulations on Rights and Interests Protection of Consumers in Shanghai" that came into force from January 1 , 2003 has stipulated the recall system on defective products for the first time. Our discussion about this system is not whether the system should be set up and implemented today, but how to set up and to implement it so as to be in line with international standards in an all-round way. All such will protect the legal rights and interests of consumers of our country and strengthen the synthesized competitiveness of our country.This text regards the recall system of defective products in our country as the centre studied, which analysed and explained relevant theoretical questions in terms of law.
