The Obsolescence Estimate And Investment Of Telecommunications Infrastructure

Abstract : In the age of 21st century, telecommunications, especiallytelecommunications infrastructure, as a basic condition of regional development and an important part of informationalization construction, are restraining or promoting the development process of regional economy. Telecommunications network with complete coverage, large capacity, high efficiency and multi-means provide the fast access for information network, and meanwhile, they have been in every corner of the society and influenced all fields in modern society.The thesis aims at the importance of telecommunications infrastructure and the weakness of investment theory & relevant research in both home and aboard; furthermore, it also takes the background that the update of the new technology is accelerated gradually into account. Taking telecommunications infrastructure as a research target, the thesis develops a research to the issues of obsolescence, renewal and investment on the basis of theoretical analysis. Based on the geographical regional angle, we estimate the obsolescence rate of telecommunications infrastructure in Hebei province and analyze regional difference and future investment trend of telecommunications investment in our country.There are five parts in this thesis and the research content of each part is as follows: (1) The first part reviews and comments the research of telecommunications infrastructure investment in both home and aboard.
