Honesty-Faith is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation , and the code ofethics praised highly by the Chinese thinkers through the ages . Honesty-Faith isthe basic code of ethics to be an upright person should be possessed , also shouldbe followed in the activities of making friends , economy and administering acountry . In the feudal society of China "ruled by etiquette", in the condition of"valuing promise , despising contract", Honesty-Faith took great effect on thesociety stable and rule firm , at the same time , in today China , lack ofHonesty-Faith has been one of the social public hazards , the great effect ofHonesty-Faith can provide useful reference . With the development of society , theconnotation of Honesty-Faith becomes more richful , it becomes a kind of capitals ,a kind of invisible resource ; also goes up to the system level , Honesty-Faithshould be legalized and systemized ,but Honesty-Faith belonged to ethics categoryis the base and standard.Enterprise culture is the mode of thought , expression , behavior formed in theprocess of enterprise development , and it is relatively stable , it is the soul ofenterprise . Positive enterprise culture can always promote the development ofenterprise . There are many problems in the construction of the state-ownedenterprise's culture , maladies left over by the planned economy system haven'tbeen eliminated , in the process of the reform of state-owned enterprise , theconstruction of enterprise culture should be paid more attention and should bestrengthened .Honesty-Faith is the key value of state-owned enterprise culture, it's veryimportant for the exist and development of the state-owned enterprise . The keyvalues is the relative stable factor of the enterprise culture , is the spirit of it , allactivities of enterprise depend on it , it is as good as the "Constitution"ofenterprise and shouldn't be changed at will once ascertained . As the key values ofstate-owned enterprise Honesty-Faith should also be their values and mode ofbehaviour among their daily management . The important of Honesty-Faith to state-owned enterprise is embodied notonly positive respects but also can be seen from the negative respects , the former :Honesty-Faith is beneficial to advancing the reform of state-owned enterprise , torealizing scientific management , to raising staff's spirits and to raising thecapacity of competition of state-owned enterprise ; the latter : lack ofHonesty-Faith can hinder the reform of state-owned enterprise , can disturbeconomic order , can reduce the running efficiency of economy , can damage thegovernment image among the public , can damage China's image in theinternational society , can hinder the development of China's economy andsociety . But we worry about the condition of Honesty-Faith in state-owned enterpriseculture and we are surprised to see the popular exist of lack of Honesty-Faith in themanagement of state-owned enterprise . There are some major reasons , namely :effected by the social environment , defects in the legal system , the moralityself-cultivation level is relatively low , and the defects of system in state-ownedenterprise . State-owned enterprise exists Honesty-Faith crisis , it's very urgent toconstruct Honesty-Faith , there are some major countermeasures : (1) Promote thereform of state-owned enterprise . (2) Strengthen the legal system . (3) Give fullplay to the social organization , such as the trade association . (4) Make good useof all kinds of social resources to establish perfect faith system as soon aspossible .
