Han Feizi was the last famous thinker in Chin Dynasty. At the height of ages and adjust the current of time, he put forward a set of law theory on the base of law, and combined law, political statecraft and power, which has greatly influenced Chinese history. The author of this paper gives a study on Han Feizi's ideology not in the perspective of law ideology but of morality.Part one: deep foundation of law theoryHan Feizi's law theory consists of three parts. The first one is that he put forward "consubstantiality of the sovereign and Tao theory" reconstructed of Tao philosophical category of Lao Zi. The second one is that he kept on and went the extreme of Xun Zi human nature is evil theory. He thought that human beings are blinded by gain and egotistical, and this provided him the foundation in humanity. The third one is historical evolutionism. He thought that the times is changing so that the management of state affairs should be changed with the varying of times. His practical foundation is that the independent states set up a separatist regime by power of arms in the Period of the Warring States, and other theories seemed unrealistic compared with the law theory which could win over in the cruel battle of the real life.Part two: main components of law theoryHan Feizi's law theory contains three main components — law, political statecraft and power. So this part of the paper is made of three aspects. The first is "law" which studies the definition, significance and principles of law.
