Research On Structuring And Regulated Pricing Mechanism Of The Electric Power Industry In China

In this thesis, we will focus on the structuring and regulated pricing mechanism of the electric power industry in China.Firstly, we will discuss the natural monopoly problem. Nature monopoly is the basic theory of markets electric power reformation. The theory of nature monopoly has undergone a long period of development. We summarize the theory development of nature monopoly. The features of the fundamental monopoly of electricity network come from its characteristics. The fundamental monopoly of electricity network tends to weaken itself due to the change of network characteristics with the progress of technology.In the second thesis, we analyze the principle of nature monopoly industries regulation rates, base it to research its optimum way. Regulation pricing is the important content of economic regulation. In the regulation game, the information possessed by players is asymmetric, so symmetric and asymmetric information will result in different pricing. With development of technology and changing of economic condition, the price-cap regulation should be employed to improve the cost efficiency of the regulated.In the third main research works in this thesis, start with the analysis of the tendency of global electric power, we compare the patterns of renovation electric power markets of England, America, Japan and Argentina. The target of renovation is to smash monopoly, and draw contest mechanism, as well as to lift the effectiveness and cut down the power price.
