Nowadays fund be used as the important organization investor of financial market, to stabilize the stock market, to wide the channels of investment and financing, to change flowing direction of capital. Fund has become an indispensable part of international financial market.The development of the fund industry has already been 12 years' history since the first fund founded at Beijing, but comparable to other stages, the most important development in fund industry is from 1996 until now, the development speed of fund industry in this stage is obvious to all, the quantity of fund company and the fund all in the steady increment, fund category continuous abundance, the fund scale extends gradually, the management follows the correct path, the investment level of the fund investors increases gradually.Like other things, the development of the fund is a process of detect problems and perfect them gradually. As an important part in the process of fund development, the fund performance evaluation is a study project both theorization and practicability. There are many studies about this aspect on aboard, but fewer in our country and still in the first stage of the whole process.The purpose of the thesis is to establish a fund performance evaluation system with China and transitional characteristic through unscramble study thesis inside and outside our country. Based on the purpose, the construction of the thesis arranged as follow: Part one is the general situation of fund and fund performance evaluation, mainly introduce the basic conditions of fund and fund performance evaluation. Part two is the summary of the models and measures on fund performance evaluation, which induce and summarize the models and measures people have known until today and bring out some important aspects which may influence fund performance, in this part we mainly put forward some methods of test the influence's possibility of some aspects, which is also an innovative spot. The three part is the experiment designed for the demonstration analysis of the fund performance evaluation, all the models, measures and data should be made certain in this part.
