After China's entry to the World Trade Organization, China has maintained close ties with other countries over the world, and this, to a great extent, promoted Chinese economic development. However, rampantly worldwide money laundering has affected China and is becoming increasingly serious in some cities in China. It is necessary for China to better the laws regarding the money laundering for the government cannot combat the money laundering effectively due to the out-dated laws.This paper is classified into four parts. The first part is about the general introduction to the money laundering crime, including the appearance of the term and the contents, means, and the characteristics of the criminal offence. In the second part, this paper analyses the construction of the crime, describes the differences in the definition, name, object, subject and the penalty provided by the criminal laws in different countries and points out the things should be improved. This paper, based on the domestic conditions, provides advice to extend the scope of the money laundering crimes to such criminal offences as bribery and corruption in the third part. Finally, the paper, by analysis of current legislation and working conditions, puts forwarders suggestions to establish and better the legality and working system regarding the anti-money laundering in China.
