As our country joins WTO the automobile service business is relieved further.The automobile dealer is not only faced with rare good opportunity but also facedwith great challenge. How the automobile dealer is to grasp good opportunity ,meet challenge , extend business , set up business combination decision is aproblem needed to think carefully for us.On the base of going deep into analyzing the present situation to the domesticand international automobile dealer as well as the existent major problem in thedevelopment of our country 's automobile dealer, the thesis carries out thoroughresearch for the decision theory on the business combination to the automobiledealer. At last the thesis goes on the application research of the decision theory onthe business combination to a automobile dealer.The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. The thesis has analyzed the division to theautomobile dealer business and the types of business combination . The thesis hasdesigned the decision process of the business combination to the automobiledealer. The thesis has studied the implementation strategy of the decision on thebusiness combination to the automobile dealer.Chapter 1 analyses the necessity for the study on the decision theory about thebusiness combination to the automobile dealer mainly from 3 aspects. The firstaspect has analyzed the developing situation for automobile dealer. First, the thesishas made clear the relevant concept for the automobile dealer. The automobiledealer is the enterprise organization that carries out the sales of automobile andoffers other service business concerning selling before , selling in ,selling after.Then the thesis has analyzed the developing situation for American , European andJapanese automobile dealer. Finally the thesis has analyzed the present situationfor our country's automobile dealers pointing out the present majority of ourcountry 's automobile dealer have greatly depended on the automobilemanufacturers, but a few of automobile dealers are very strong strength, and haverealized the operation for more trademarks automobile. The second aspect has discussed the existent major problem in the developmentof our country 's automobile dealer. Now, our country 's automobile dealer has theproblems mainly in 4 aspects: problems in the aspect of management concept,problems in the aspect of market organization , problems in the aspect of peoplequality and problems in the aspect of business. The existence of problems in this 4aspects does harm to the development of automobile dealer and the decision on thebusiness combination to the automobile dealer. The problems must be solvedcarefully. The third aspect has analyzed the necessity for the study on the decision aboutthe business combination to the automobile dealer mainly from the two angles ofpractice and theory. From the angle of practice, the study for the decision on thebusiness combination to the automobile dealer can make the dealer develop everybusiness with more specific aim and can make the dealer know which kind ofbusiness combination is more suitable to his development. From the angle of theory,in recent years the various businesses relevant to automobile emerge endlessly buton the theory the study for the decision on the business combination to theautomobile dealer is very few . So it is necessary to study the decision theory onthe business combination to the automobile dealer. Chapter 2 is the main part of the thesis. This chapter studies the decision on thebusiness combination to the automobile dealer from 3 aspects . The first aspect hasanalyzed the division to the automobile dealer business and the types of thebusiness combination . The thesis puts forward several base on which the businessto the automobile dealer are divided and introduces various business types that theautomobile dealer is engaged in. The base on which businesses are divided is: thebusiness having the automobile service attribute; the business needing the certainfunds devotion; business being operated by professional personnel ;the businesshaving the fix place; the business being independent; the business being profitable.The business types are made up of mainstream businesses such as automobilesales ,automobile maintains ,spare parts supply ,old car business and infantbusinesses such as automobiles adornment, automobile leasing, automobile pilottraining, automobile refits. Then the thesis analyses the connotation of theautomobile dealer business combination. The business combination to theautomobile dealer means that the organic composing of various businesses that anautomobile dealer is engaged in , also the structure of various automobilebusiness that a automobile dealer is engaged in. The business combination to theautomobile dealer has the attribute such as width, depth, relevancy degree, sharedegree. Finally the thesis carries on the introduction to the types of the automobiledealer business combination . The business combination to the automobile dealercan be divided into the depth business combination and scope businesscombination.
