The State Grid Corporation of China ( SGCC), which is incorporated of a series of enterprises and public institutions, is a super-enterprises of China and mainly undertakes the management and administration of electric power transmission, electric energy transformation and electric power distribution. It is a Chinese State Council authorized social machine, who has the right of delegation of administrative power in investment, and a selected unit of State-controlling company.The SGCC has hit the top in the top 500 Chinese enterprises' contest of 2004.As the SGCC's monopoly position trending to weaken and the development of itself, it's necessary for the SGCC to foster a good and healthy company image to achieve its strategic goal. Thus public relations administration has become a effective channel and measure meets the needs.Cutting into the weakness of the SGCC's monopoly image, this article profoundly analyses the actual state of SGCC's image and gives a aimed countermeasure against it, by combining the monopoly and a company's image theory system.
