Legislative Suggestions On The Perfection Of China's Environmental Standard

The environmental standard remains important in the system of environmental law and serves the basis of law construction. The establishment of environmental standard helps to legislate, enforce, administrate and abide by the environmental law. China still manages the environmental standard under standardization. The unclear distinction between environmental standard and product standard, recommendable standard and compulsory standard restricts our enforcement of environmental law. It is of great importance to perfect the legislation of our environmental law on the basis of china's economic and social development as well as foreign advantageous experience.Basic theories as the definition and attribute of environmental law are still in debate. The lack of systemic theoretical research fails to meet the needs of china's practice. This article is to discuss the standardization of environmental law from historical, comparative and semantic perspectives.It consists of four parts.Part 1 is about the definition, attribute and significance of environmental standard on a theoretical basis.
