WTO Anti-dumping Agreement And The Perfection Of Chinese Textile Trade's Anti-dumping Law

The history shows that the development of textile industry is the essential way to any country's industrialization, for instance, the case of British, American and Japanese's industrialization. Nowadays, the textile industry takes the very important role not only in the developing countries but also in the developed ones. The most outstanding evidence is that the textile industry spreads all over the world and offers the large number of job opportunities for huge amount of people. The value of textile industry's production takes also 6 to 10 percent of total amount of the value of world's production. For developing countries, textile industry is only a few fields that can be regarded as the comparative advanced areas and the resources of the direct profits. That is to say, textile industry is the most important part of these countries' international trade. In china, we have the same condition. From the early of last century, textile industry has been the supportive industrial area and also New China has relied on it to get huge amount of foreign money. I trust that Chinese textile industry is becoming the strongest one in the world. Because of the close relationship between Chinese textile industry and the world textile trade, the experts point out that this hope depends on the export of the textile. Since January 1st of 2005, the arrangement of textile has been cancelled. Facing the rapid increase of developing countries' export of textile, the textile import countries are getting used to relying on WTO's Anti-dumping law to depress this trend.Through the analyzes of the WTO's Anti-dumping law which includes the process and substantial rules, I make the conclusions about its impact of the legal system of international textile trade; the change of legislative theory which is called the change from the market disruption to the protection of free international trade and the ways of using WTO's Anti-dumping law to protect the normal international textile trade which is originated from the international division of labor and also I point out that the ways of setting up Chinese textile Anti-dumping law under WTO.
