Dumping is an unjust trade practice, of which antidumping constitutesa rectification. Antidumping as a trade protection measures approved andpermitted by the World Trade Organization is a prevailingly adopted actionintended for protecting domestic industries; it also functions as anecessary tool in fighting this unfair competition. Since after thebeginning of 20th century, antidumping measures have been undergoingconstant improvement and strengthening; it becomes globally a principalcomponent of trade policy and remedy. With China' s readmission into theWTO, as a member state of the WTO it is a fact that China shall be subjectto its rules and regulations; affected unavoidably by WTO antidumpingagreement when China has been successfully involved in the internationalcommunity. With the research works performed in this article regarding WTOantidumping agreement, in reference to the other country' s antidumpinglegislation and application, the current situation of China' s antidumpinglegislation and application is analyzed; specific measures are the maintarget of China' s antidumping application research; it offersrecommendations and ideas pertaining to China' s antidumping laws andregulations, endeavoring to make them compatible with the WTO antidumpingagreement, and seeking to render good service for China' s economic growth.
