| National spirit is the Spiritual prop a nationality depends on for existence and development, how to carry forward and foster Chinese nation's spirit is not only an academic but also a realistic problem. Taking Chinese revolution and construction as the background, This text aims at revealing Mao Tse-tung, in the course of the realization of Marxist sinicization and the transmutations of modern national spirit,how to combine Marxist with traditional Chinese nation's spirit and construct modern one. The thesis is divided into five aspects altogether in content: The first aspect summarized the meaning of nation's spirit and the transmutation of modern national spirit. From second to fifth ,I have described from four aspects separately that, on the basis of inheriting Chinese nation's fine tradition ,Mao Tse-tung used the Marxist method and principle to construct modern Chinese nation's spirit:(1) Appling the Marxist internationalism principle to the realistic revolutionary struggle of China, Combining it with Chinese nation's patriotism tradition, have overcome the narrow-mindedness of the traditional patriotism, formed patriotism spirit having meaning of era; (2) Using Marxist philosophical basic view, have transformed the tradition of " the academic for use ", Changed the spirit about emphasizing practical live into the spirit of seeking truth from facts; (3) Transforming the spirit of traditional attention on morals to the spirit of serving the people wholeheartedly ; (4) Encouraged by the spirit of making unremitting effort to work, Under the theme of new era, ,Mao Tse-tung advocated the spirit of struggling hard and optimism.
