| This study collects materials through questionnaire survey and in-dept interview. Based on the relevant theories of ethnics (a world view and a happiness view), sociology (socialization) and social psychology (social cognition), it aims to explore the relationship between the purpose of life and the value of happiness of the intelligentsia. Part one includes the study background, the literature review, the conceptualization and the operation of concept. In addition, the framework, the hypothesis, and the research method of this study are also mentioned. Part two examines the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life. The intelligentsia's attitude on the purpose of life with three difference reference objects; the deviation on the reference object of the purpose of life; the attitude on the purpose of life with two different value kind; the deviation on the value kinds of the purpose of life are described and analyzed in this part. Part three examines the intelligentsia's opinions on the value of happiness. The intelligentsia's attitude on the value of happiness with three different reference object; the deviation on the reference objects of the value of happiness; the attitude on the value of happiness with two different value kind; the deviation on the value kind of the value of happiness are described and analyzed. Part four examines whether the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life affect the reference objects of the value of happiness from seven aspects, using correlative statistical analysis. It is illustrated that the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life has significant influence on their attitude and deviation on the reference object of the value of happiness. Part five examines whether the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life affect the different value kinds of happiness from seven aspects, using correlative statistical analysis. It is illustrated that the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life has significant influence on their attitude and deviation on the different kinds of the value of happiness. The last part includes the conclusion and discussion of this study. It concludes that the factor of the subject (the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life) and the socialization environment both have significant influence on the intelligentsia's opinions on the value of happiness. Besides, the significance of exploring the intelligentsia's opinions on the purpose of life and the value of happiness are also illustrated. As well, the specialty, the significance and the limitation of the study are included in this part. |
