The Study On Democracy Participation And Local Autonomy Basing On Tocqueville' View

Democracy participation and local autonomy gradually become the public topic during the rise of "United Revolution" and the spread of local autonomy. We can see the phenomenon in The Democracy of America written by Tocqueville. Tocqueville' view on the relationship between democracy and liberty have the enlighten meaning to our reform of local autonomy. This thesis intends to understand the insightful thought of Tocqueville, to found the inner relationship between democracy participation and local autonomy.The creation of the thesis is that it abandons the tactical pure tradition on the study of the democracy participation and local autonomy, devotes itself to strengthen the relative theory basis, and makes the people who pay attention to the local governance understand more comprehensively of the local autonomy problem. On the way of studying, the thesis integrates positive analysis and normative analysis, tries to analyze and synthesize the local autonomy from the multiple courses of economics, politics, sociology and psychology.
