From Deng Xiao-ping To Hu Jin-tao

Since reforming and opening, a series of new contradictions arise out of social development falling behind economic development in our country, such as the problem of peasants, farming, and countryside, the disparity of area development, the problem of unbalanced development between town and country, environment protection problem and so on. The generation of Party leaders with Hu Jin-tao at the core put forward a new goal of constructing socialist harmonious society to settle these contradictions. From the development theory of taking economic development as central task, the development idea of building well-off society to the idea of socialist harmonious society, which is the development process of theory .The thesis try to analyse the history origin of harmony mind, and to research the content and common characteristics of Deng, Jiang, Hu's ideas of harmonious society, and to display the evolution of socialist harmonious society idea. The second generation of Party leaders with Deng Xiao-ping at the core firstly bring forth the germinal mind of harmonious society, on the basis of which the third generation leadership with Jiang Zemin at the core enriches it. Under the guidance of Deng Xiao-ping theory and the important thought of "the Three Representations", the generation leadership with Hu Jin-tao at the core complete the idea of harmonious society, from which we know the socialist harmonious society idea has enriched and developed Deng Xiao-ping theory and the important thought of "the Three Representation ". We are able to perfect the idea of harmonious society and realize the goal of building socialist harmonious society through strong exploring the evolution of harmonious society idea.
