The Role Of Ideological And Political Education In The Construction Of Harmonious Society

The advancement of constructing a harmonious society is our Party's scientific recognition and reasonable consideration of the social developing tendency in a new epoch, and also the renovation of the social theory of Marxism. No doubt, constructing a harmonious society concerns every aspect of the social development and it is an enormous systematic social project. In this project, what is the place of ideological and political education? Therefore, the relationship between the ideological and political education and constructing a harmonious society must be studied in search for the functional place of the ideological and political education in the process of constructing a harmonious society with the practical significance. This thesis, under the guidance of Marxism, Leninism, Mao Zedong' thoughts and Deng Xiaoping's theory, with the combination of theory and facts and through the help of the multi-subject knowledge, deeply researches into the ideological and political education's theory and practice and completely analyzes its functions in constructing a harmonious society. This thesis falls into four sections:Section one: the basic problems of constructing a harmonious society. This section mainly analyzes the connotation, characteristics and significance of a socialist harmonious society.Section two: the roles of the ideological and political education and its embodiments in constructing our harmonious society. From the angles of history and reality, this section analyzes the connotation of the six roles of the ideological and political education and its representations in reality.Section three: the limitations of the roles of the ideological and political education in constructing a harmonious society. This section mainly analyzes the limitations from the subjects, objects, media and environment of the ideological and political education in hope for some measures to develop the roles of the ideological and political education.Section four: the measures of developing the roles of the ideological and political education in constructing a harmonious society. This thesis, from the angle of reality, puts forward some measures of developing the roles of the ideological and political education and some immature suggestions from enhancing our Party's leadership, pushing renovation to establishing a man-centeredness idea, etc. which have to befurther studied.
