The image of "human" in criminology refers in the crime scientists' viewing, the essential characteristic owning by criminal , as well as the overall image involving criminal deciding by these essential characteristics. In more than 200 years ,criminology has developed and enriched unceasingly ,emerging a great numbers of scholars. In the different scholars' viewing, " human" has the different images, such as rational person, born criminal , weaker and so on. This series of images variation cannot simply duing to the transformation of criminology research paradigm. On the contrary, this article thought the understanding about "human" guide criminology constructing in the certain degree.This article attempts to embark from the criminology discipline historical viewing, to comb the evolution course of the human' image, discussing some "human" images in the criminology since Becarria, the reasons which bring these image, as well as the influence regarding criminology. In fact the understanding about "human" guide criminology constructing in the certain degree.This may be regarded as one evolution rules of criminology .Master this rule, selecting this perspective could be helpful in deeping our understanding to the criminology, and would grasp its future.This article comprises of five parts:The first parties is preface, mainly introducing the primary writing intention discussing the historical background of these image's evolutions.The first chapter analysis is about the " human" image in the classical scholarship era, pointing out in the classical criminology, "the human" mainly appearance in a abstract rational person's appearance. This image promoted the construction of the classical criminology.The second chapter discusses the " human" image in the practicism viewing, namely the born criminal in Lombroso's theory. This image impelled the criminology's reconstruction.The third chapter inspects the " human" image in the contemporary criminology .Through analysis the Critical Criminology, the Strain Theory, the Culture Conflict Theory, the Labeling Theory and so on, put forward a concept: the weak trend criminal. It initiated a series of transformations which promoted the reform in the contemporary criminology and judicial practices.The later three chapters besides elaborating these three kind of different image and their influence, analyze the reasons why these image can emerge.
