Rational Thinking On Several Problems Of Present Network Morality

The development and popularization of network technology broaden people's horizon, changing their lives, and at the same time it also causes many problems— network intellectual property rights, individual privacies, network crimes, network eroticism and network violence, etc. Therefore all the people not only pay attention to "what we can do " in the cyberspace, but also pay more attention to "what we should do " in it. This article expatiates on three points of view —the essence of network, the principles' system of network morality and the establishment of the network moral subjects so as to answer three questions: what the network morality is, what the principles that the network and individual should stand by and how the subject practises the principles in their network behavior.The network society with the characteristics of virtue, share, compactness, interactant and openness consists of cyberspace and the people who act in it. The forming of network morality is based on the healthy development of network society and restricts in people's movements. Network morality is a new rule that suits with the interactive characteristics of the network. It's realized mainly through the self-discipline subjects.In the article, the author puts forward some principles, mainly including overall interests, showing concerns for people, justice, permission, autonomy, non-maleficence, respects, informed consent, benefit balances. It's significant for people to abiding by these principles.The development direction of the network society is mainly decided by the action of the subjects in the cyberspace. So it's very important to focus on the establishement of the network moral subject. In the last and the most important part of the article, the author discusses the questions from three different angles which are the necessity, the outside factors and moral internalized rules. In the end, the author indicates that enhancing the education of people's morality consciousness and making them become moral self-discipline subjects are very important as well.
