Currently, Anti-dumping measures have been frequently imposed on Chinese goods by importing states, in particular U.S.A and E.U. Thereby, more and more Chinese corporations are subject to on-the-spot investigations of relating authorities. Unfortunately, little attention has been paid to the rules by Chinese writers, let alone countermeasures. Furthermore, few articles addressed the practice and rules of China in detail. The article aims at exploring the regime of verification visit rules of western countries. Based on a brief overview of the purpose, features, process and application of western rules, several strategies on avoiding dumping and countermeasures of verification visit are put forward. Meanwhile, the article makes a comparison between rules of China and that of western countries. Finally, the author gives some suggestions on how to make Chinese rules more effective on the basis of a careful study of practice in China.
