On Pan Hannian's Contributions To The United Front Work Of CPC

The United Front is a great magic weapon by which the Communist Party of China achieves victories in the revolution and construction cause. It is one of the most important policies and the most basic experiences of the CPC. Great Marxist and remarkable proletarian revolutionary soldier, Comrade Pan Hannian, had the indissoluble bond with our Party's United Front cause. He had made outstanding contributions to the United Front work of the CPC during his long-term revolutionary practice.This thesis, regarding the historical materialism of Marxism as guidelines, has realistically studied and analyzed Pan Hannian's contributions to the United Front work of CPC. This thesis thinks that Pan Hannian made the pioneering attempts for our Party's cultural united front by establishing "Left-wing Federation" in the work of cultural united front, organizing the first new army of the cultural united front and opening up the united front propagation's cultural position; that Pan Hannian played the special role which others couldn't substitute for in the united front work on Kuomintang, by breaking through closed-doorism and striving for the Kuomintang local those who actually had strength and hold power, getting in touch with the government of the Kuomintang Nanjing, reversing the current political situation of the united front, realizing the second cooperation between the KMT and the CPC and establishing the national united front of anti-Japan; that he made a series of creative exploration in the united front work on democratic parties, democrats and special persons, by uniting democratic strength, constructing the loyal-hearted relationship between the CPC and the democratic party or democratic persons, which result in expanding influence of the united front policy of our party and striving for the support of various forces; that in the work of economic united front, he demonstrated and educated cadre, united the business circles of Shanghai for the sake of resuming production and developing economy,played the enormous exemplary role for the new democratic economy construction. Besides Pan Hannian summarized the experiences and cognition accumulated in his long-term united front work, so that he made important contributions to enriching and developing our Party's united front theory.Therefore, to summarize Comrade Pan Hannian's contributions is important and instructive for our Party's united front work in the new era.
