The Domestic And International Relevance Of Tamil Issue In Sri Lanka

The Tamil question in Sri Lanka is one of the typical cases of racial issue among the world with regard to the origin, evolution and the status quo. However, under the circumstances of globalization, the ethnic issue in one country is beyond the control of this very state and is connected with many international factors because globalization has become an important level for the regional interests or global interests of some countries. This dissertation mainly adopts the method of case study while it employs also the integration of deduction and induction, and of theoretical analysis and practical examination partly.This dissertation analyzes the origin, development of the Tamil question and the difficulty of solving it from the perspective of its domestic and international concerns.
